Local Walks from Aphrodites Themed Hotel

Approximatley 30 minutes to Bowness Bay

From the entrance of Aphrodites Lodge, travel down Longtail Hill, turn left on the Newby Bridge road, walk a few hundred paces along the road, cross over into the Marina Village.

By turning right at the entrance of the village you begin a scenic walk past the attractive boating area and onto the Spinnaker Club with bar and bistro overlooking the Marina.

At the back of the club you pass through a ginal across the road to the public car park and then down towards the slipway and lake, where you will observe a path to the right hand side that goes to Cockshot Point, passed the shores of Lake Windermere on to Bowness Bay, an excellent short walk full of interesting views and great scenery.
