Why we use locally sourced produce
We source local produce wherever possible at the Aphrodite´s Lodge to ensure the quality and freshness of our food, and also to support local farmers and suppliers.
Also, the environment is important to us, and by using local suppliers, we also reduce our carbon footprint, and, ultimately help to conserve the Lake District. Our aim is to serve fresh, seasonal foods wherever possible, including some organic produce.
