Booking Policy

A deposit of £150 (or 50% on bookings greater than £300) is payable at the time of booking for all rooms and cottages at Aphrodites Lodge.

The full balance and pre-ordered extras must be paid for on arrival. The booking must be made by the person who is to be the guest and payment must be made by that person’s card. Bookings made though accommodation balances will be processed 7 days before your arrival date.

You will be asked to provide that card on check in, if this card is not available you will be asked to produce another card in your name where the full amount of the booking will be charged. The original card used will then be refunded in full. Unfortunately, if you are unable to provide a card in your own name we will not be able to honor your booking.

Check in is between 3pm and 10.30pm. Whilst we try and have all rooms ready by 3 pm there may be occasions where, due to circumstances beyond our control, there are some delays. Check out is by 10.30am

Aphrodites Hotel & Rose Cottage are completely Non-Smoking in the Premises & Grounds.

The hotel reserves the right to change your room if circumstances dictate that the room is non-operational, and we cannot guarantee the room as booked but we do our utmost to facilitate the booking.

Please be aware the hotel cannot be held responsible for any issues with WIFI/Internet and thus cannot guarantee WIFI reception always.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children or pets at Aphrodites Hotel or Rose Cottage.

The Windermere tranquil retreat suites and Windermere spa suites are situated within half a mile of the main hotel reception.

Suites booked are non-transferable.


For Christmas bookings on 24th & 25th December please note the rates are on a room only basis, this does not include breakfast or use of our pool & spa area.


We can not offer late check out, breakfast in bed or room service at our Windermere Tranquil Retreat or Windermere Boutique Spa Suite properties.

Cancelation Policy

Gift & Cancellation vouchers are non-refundable and must be booked/used by the persons they’re address to (the guest).

If you wish to cancel your booking, please advise us as soon as possible by form of writing a letter or email.

If cancelled 14 days before arrival the deposit will be refunded by way of voucher.

If cancelled less than 14 days before arrival or in case of a no show the full amount of the reservation will be charged.

We would then try to resell your room under the same terms of your booking, if we are able to resell we will refund by way of voucher which will be valid for 12 months from the date of booking. An administration charge of £35.00 will be deducted from the value of the voucher.

We recommend that holiday insurance be taken out.

The room price is based on 2 people sharing.
